Description

The work consists of conducting terrestrial mollusk surveys in approximately 1661 acres using the protocol described in the "Survey Protocol for Terrestrial Mollusk Species (Version 2.0)". Using qualified mollusk surveyors, the Contractor shall locate, collect and document the 7 targeted mollusk species. Two complete visits to each survey unit, one in the spring and one in the fall, are required to meet the terms of the survey protocol. Project sites are located in the Tillamook Resource Area of the Salem District, BLM, Oregon, Washington and Yamhill counties. Survey work will be in forested areas, frequently in steep terrain. Estimated start work date is April 15, 2002 and performance time is 260 calendar days. This contract includes an option that allows for increased quantities not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of the total contract price. See Numbered Note(s): 1.
