Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs North Texas Health Care System, Dallas, TX has a requirement for total electric utility service (generation, transmission, distribution, and delivery). Delivery sites include the main facility located in Dallas, TX and includes several delivery points related to the VA North Texas Health Care System located in the North Texas area. The successful offeror will supply this electric service starting with a base year beginning January 1, 2002 and include four option years. Offerors are required to have certification by Public Utility Commission (PUC) of Texas as a Retail Electrical Provider (REP). Electronic solicitations may be obtained for no charge at the following URL: http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.ht. Amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this URL. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. Requests for hard copy solicitations must be made in writing to the contracting officer listed in this announcement and accompanied by a check in the amount of $10.00. Solicitation will be available on the above web site by 9:00 AM CDT on August 3, 2001. Proposals must be received by 4:00 PM CDT, August 24, 2001.
