Description
The Regional Contracting Department Pearl Harbor Hawaii intends to negotiate from a written quotation, an unrestricted contract for commercial services/supplies in accordance with FAR Part 12 using FAR Part 13.5 procedures. All contractors shall be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for Department of Defense contract awards. This RFQ/solicitation may be downloaded from our website at http://www.cic.pearl.fisc.navy.mil/fisc/owa/solicitation_registration.start_page. RFQ/Solicitation No. N00604-01-T-B111 is assigned. Sources are responsible to periodically check this website for any amendments that may be issued, until the closing date of the quotation. Hard copies of the solicitation shall not be available. Phone requests will not be accepted. Offerors shall provide their name, address, phone/fax numbers and e-mail address. The RFQ will be available at our website on or about 24 July 2001. The signed, completed quotation/solicitation, including the marked certifications/representations found in clause FAR 52.212-3 and three past performance references shall be e-mailed to deborah_a_alberto@pearl.fisc.navy.mil or faxed to (808) 473-5750 by 2:00 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time on 31 July 2001. The text of all referenced clauses can be viewed at http://arnet.gov/far. An award is anticipated no later than 12 August 2001. The criteria for award shall be based on the lowest- priced, technically acceptable, responsible offer. This requirement is to: obtain facility rental services for a conference on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii from 08 through 18 February 2002 which will host approximately 260 people. Three co-located suites all required on a 24- hour basis. One deluxe suite based on a minimum rental of 50 guest rooms; additionally, the hotel shall guarantee and reserve 150 single- occupancy rooms at a NTE price of $112.00 each excluding tax and guarantee that fifteen of the rooms will be upgrade; and two each one-bedroom suites one with an oversized entertaining area. Lockable conference rooms with light and climate controls adjustable within the room. One large (required exclusively on a 24- hr. basis from 10-15 Feb 02), with a minimum room size of 6,500 square feet to accommodate a total of 260 people (200 people in classroom-style- seating and 60 in theater seating). The height of the room shall be ample to allow for a 10 foot by 27- foot screen set upon a 16-24 inch raised stage. Four seminar rooms- about 600 square feet each able to seat 50 people in a U-shape. One room with a minimum of 1,000 square feet of usable floor space inclusive of 16 chairs, a large sofa, 8 (3 feet by 6 feet) tables with a lockable 8 foot wide by 5 feet deep storage area. The room requires five phone lines: one with international phone and fax line; two local lines for internet use and one for local access only. The room shall have a minimum of two electrical outlets on three of the four walls. Other requirements: Audiovisual: message boards, tripod easels, tables, chairs screen, microphones, projector, and a channel mixer. Parking- Daily parking/waiting area for two support vehicles at no charge and two VIP spaces. Fifteen parking passes and validated discount parking for on-island residents NTE $10.0 per day. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
