Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice -- IFB N68711-00-B-7457, Repair of Magazines at the Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach, CA. The work includes the replacement of the earth cover over the selected magazines to restore a minimum of two feet of cover, the replacement of cracked floors by removal, replacement or sealing, water sealing of those magazines showing evidence of water infiltration and incidental related work. A Quality Control Program will be required as set forth in the contract specifications. NOTE: All Federal Contractors must e registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, new contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. Estimated Cost Range between $100,000 and $500,000. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code 23493/SIC Code 1629. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Plans and Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the Contractor's responsibility to check the below listed address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation's plans and specifications. Download from the Internet is free of charge; however, some plans and specifications will take a considerable amount of time to download. Telephone or FAX requests will not be accepted.
