Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 9715. This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS Code for the req. is 333512, 500 employees. The U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command Portsmouth, VA intends to procure the following: one (1) EA of Sharp Vertical & Horzontal Milling Machine, Model VH3 or equal; one (1) EA of Sharp PD-150 Power Draw Bar w/Foot Pedal or equal; one (1) job to install the Draw Bar onto the Milling Machine; one (1) EA AR-VH3-3AK ACU-RITE Digital Read Out, 3 Axis-Knee or equal; and one (1) job to install Digital Read Out on Milling Machine. NOTE: If providing equal model submit descriptive literature of detailed specifications. All responsible sources have up to 15 days after publication of this notice to respond. Delivery is desired by 31 OCT 01; FOB Destination (shipping included); Matl to be shipped to Commanding Officer (Shipping and Receiving), ISC 4000 Coast Guard Blvd., Portsmouth, VA 23703-2199.
