Description

The Navy has a requirement for Non-Destructive Evaluation of concrete piles. As a minimum, five (5) piles will be evaluated using the Sonic Echo/Impulse Response methodology. The NDE will determine the integrity of the piles and the in-situ pile length. Evaluation results are due two weeks after testing. The Navy intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Northwestern University for technical expertise in support of NDE. Delivery schedule is by 30 October 2001.
