Description

Work includes providing all materials, labor and equipment to re-deck an existing bridge, install foot bridges to be attached to each side of this bridge, extending to concrete footings at 16 feet from each end of bridge, installing the concrete footings and installing handrails on the bridge located 35 miles east of Billings, Montana. Contractor will furnish 2 each, 6 ft wide (clear space) by 16 ft long, pre-fabricated bridges with ADA hand rails with 3" by 12" by 7 ft timber treads. Timber decking to replace existing wood decking: 1665 board foot, 3" x 12" decking. Platform handrails, four pieces which total length 21'-6": 1 ea 4' -6', 1 ea 6' -0", 1 ea 8' -0", 1 ea 3' -0". Two concrete footings 2' base x 3' high x 6' + long: 1.4 cu yd concrete with 100 lin foot of #4 rebar. 16 lin foot steel angles unequal legs (4" x6") by 3/4" thickness. Awards over $25,000 will require payment protection in the form of an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit or Payment Bond. The proposed award is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Solicitation range is $25,000 through $100,000. Soliciation documents will be available on August 3, 2001 and close September 4, 2001.
