Description

THIS SOLICITATION IS A "REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL" WITH A RESPONSE DUE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 10, 2001 AT CLOSE OF BUSINESS (4:30 PM). Project consists of the demolition of an existing 150 foot wooden pier and replace with a new 150 foot pier with round steel pilings and a wood deck. Government estimate range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation package will be available approximately August 9, 2001. There is a non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting at the project site on August 23, 2001 at 10 am. From South Lake Tahoe, California, the project site can be reached by traveling north on State Route(SR) 89 approximately 2.7 miles from the intersection of Hwy 50 and SR 89 to the intersection of the Tallac Historic Estates. Turn right into the Tallac Estates. Pier is located on the beach behind the Valhalla building and adjacent to the old boat houses.
