Description
This is a Market Survey to request information regarding Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) to be used with the AN/VIC-3(V) Vehicular Intercommunication System. The following options may be considered: a) the test set must be portable enough to be used in a field environment to conduct functional tests on the AN/VIC-3(V) Line Replaceable Units (LRUs (boxes)), and to be able to fault isolate the LRUs in a depot environment down to the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) level; b) the test set may consist of two components, a detachable portion that is portable enough to be used in a field environment to conduct functional tests on the LRUs, and a depot portion that need not be portable to fault isolate down to the CCA level, or c) two (2) distinct separate test sets, one that is portable for use in a field environment to conduct functional tests on LRUs, and one that can be used in the depot to fault isolate down to the CCA level. The options listed in a, b, and c above may include, but are not limited to, any modifications of current TMDE in the Army Inventory System. The source must provide with his response the performance specification, test plan and test data, as applicable, to show interchangeability and interoperability with the existing AN/VIC-3(V) system. The response must include documentation (e.g. test results), or a statement from the previous source that the supplier can, in fact, supply items that will be form, fit and function interchangeable and interoperable with the existing AN/VIC-3(V) systems from the previous known supplier (Northrop Grumman Corporation). The item may be considered a Commercial Item (CI) or a Non-Developmental Item (NDI). Performance based technical data is available from the government upon request. Successful supplier will be required to warrant that the items to be supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Government. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate by writing to: Commander, CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-DSA-TST (C. Penta), Bldg. 209, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey 07703-5000.
