Description

This pre-solicitation notice is being issued to inform industry that the US Army CECOM is preparing to solicit for the Next Gen II, Small Cell Non Rechargeable Battery, Lithium Manganese Dioxide Battery Group. Information relative to the NextGen II acquisitions was previously synopsized on August 11, 2000. Documents related to this solicitation are posted on the CECOM Business Opportunities Page (BOP) under the solicitation number. All documents are currently in draft form and will remain so until the solicitation becomes final. Potential offerors interested in this acquisition should download the Draft Executive Summary first in order to gain an understanding of the Government's acquisition strategy prior to downloading the remaining documents. Potential offerors are also responsible for monitoring the BOP on a regular basis for any updates to the solicitation. The government intends to award two 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts from this solicitation.
