Description

The USDA, ARS, Conservation and Production Research Laboratory in Bushland, Texas is in need of a Flow Injection Analysis System. The system must be capable of automated analysis of chemicals and ions in water, waste water, soil extracts, feed and manure digests, sulfuric acid traps for ammonia, and urine. The Flow Injection Analyzer consists of two channels with heaters, XYZ sampler, sample processing modules/cartridges, computer/data system, printer, applicable software, pumps, etc. Installation must be by a trained technician. This is a Best Value Procurement within the Simplified Acquisition Dollar Threshold. A source selection process will be used to determine which proposal offers the best trade-off between price/cost, and performance capabilities. The evaluation factors are listed in descending order of importance: Technical, Past Performance, and price/cost.
