- Description
- This is Amendment No. 2 to RFP 2001-N-00096, Legislative Database Services. Note the following change under CONTRACT CLAUSES: eliminate 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases. The new due date for proposals is August 6, 2001. Proposals must be received on that date by 2:00pm. The following questions and answers are offered in response to inquiries submitted by interested parties: Q1) Is this system to be accessed only through the Internet via a web browser? Or accessed through an automated telephone system as well. A1) The system needs to be accessible through an Internet web browser. Q2) Does the database currently exist?A2) CDC does not possess the database. The database shall be provided by the contractor. Q3) Will there be any special user interface requirements for this RFP? A3) No, there is no special equipment required. Q4) Is there an incumbent contractor or is this a new contract opportunity? A4) The incumbent is Congressional Quarterly. Q5) Will you consider a joint venture or teaming arrangements in response to the subject RFP? A5) This contract is designed for single award. Based on market research there are commercial services available that satisfy the full scope of the CDC's requirement. Q6) The RFP states task orders will be issued for 4 to 12 offices; can you provide a list of the offices? A6) Office of the Director; Public Health Practice Program Office; National Center for Infectious Diseases; National Center for HIV, STD and TB Prevention; National Center for Injury Prevention and Control; National Immunization Program; Financial Management Office; National Center for Environmental Health; Office of Program Planning and Evaluation; Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry; National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health; and, the CDC Washington Office. Q7) Can you provide the number of users that may need access? A7) Approximately 70 users. Q8) The RFP requests the offerors shall provide a list of the last ten contracts in-process and completed during the past three years, which are similar in size and complexity to this acquisition. Is the number of ten references required flexible? A8) Yes it is flexible. List all relevant contract experience.
