Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ, intends to procure commercial components for the upgrade of Aircraft Weight Indicator Systems (AWIS), Drawing No. 627585, Rev I. Note: This procurement is for the upgrade of the system, not a new system. The Government anticipates awarding one (1) firm fixed-price contract. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. All contractors seeking an award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. No contractor may receive an award if they are not registered. For CCR information, contact the CCR Registration Center at 888-227-2432 or visit their "user-friendly" website at www.ccr2000.com. This procurement contains technical data subject to export-control laws (see Note 8). Since the Government drawings/specifications contain export-controlled data, all contractors seeking an award must be registered in the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). No contractor may receive drawings/specs if they are not registered. For DLIS information, contact the DLIS registration center at 800-352-3572. The solicitation will appear on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select "Business." Then "Doing Business With Us." Then "Open Solicitation." No solicitations will be mailed nor will hard copies be furnished. Responsible sources are advised to monitor the website listed above for RFP release and RFP amendments, as necessary.
