Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a Firm-fixed-price Supply Requirement for the following item: CLIN 0001: Taclane E-100 AC powered KG 175 Encryption Device, Part Number ET-59-000-1, Quantity four (4) each, Manufactured by General Dynamics. Included but not separately priced is a three year warranty. FOB Destination to DTRA Kirtland AFB, NM 87117-5669 within 45 days of award. The Government intends to solicit only one source under the Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c )(1). General Dynamics Government Systems is the only source that can provide NSA approved encryption devices that will fully integrate into DTRA's existing classified network. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for non-commercial items. Interested firms have fifteen (15) days from the publication of this synopsis to identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote. This notice of intent IS NOT a request for quotes. However, all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the fifteen (15) days or without the required information will be considered non-responsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
