Description

This proposed procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The Government intends to procure through Simplified Acquisition Method (commercial items). SIC Code 2819/NAICS 325188; small business size standard 1,000 employees. Furnish approximately 9000 tons (by dry weight ton) water-soluble aluminum 17% AL203 by dry weight ton, which shall contain water soluble aluminum of not less than 8.25% +/- 0.1%, as specified in the specifications and as per ANSI/AWWA B403-98 Standards. Contract is for a one year period beginning 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002. The total estimated amount is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors' requests for this solicitation will be performed through ASFI.
