Correction: This action originally publicized in the CBD dated 06/25/01, should have been dated 07/20/01, is not a sole source contract, and Numbered Note 22 does not apply. All other information publicized in the original synopsis is correct with the exception of changes to #17 as follows: The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has a requirement for ten Apple PowerPC Mac G4 Workstations. The workstations must be high-end graphic and multimedia machines. The processor, hard drives, and internal components must be able to handle the fast data transfer required for high end graphic and multimedia creation, file conversion, 3D animation, modeling and rendering, video editing, video compression, conversion, CD-R and DVD recording as well as DVD authoring and video editing capabilities. The workstations must be 733MHz PowerPC G4, 1GB SDRAM-2DIMMS, Ultra SCSI PCI Card & Cable Adapter, DVD-R/CD-RW, NVIDIA GeForce3-64MB DDR-SDRAM, 72GB Ultra 160 SCSI-Dual card, and Mac OS-US English. Each workstation must include Apple Pro Keyboard, 56K Internal Modem, Gigabit Ethernet built in, Accessory Kit, Apple Cinema Display 22-Inch, Apple Pro Speakers, and AppleCare Plan-Power & Mac Display.
