Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The small business set aside has been dissolved. The proposed contract is issued on a sole source basis to Grove U.S. L.L.C., P.O. Box 21, 1565 Buchanan Trail East, Shady Grove, PA 17256-0021. Grove U.S. L.L.C. holds proprietary rights to the confidential drawings associated with the below mentioned part numbers. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0261 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-2 as well as DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 326150 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 100 each Bumper, Nonmetallic, Grove U.S. L.L.C. P/N: 719000555, CLIN 0002 51 each Bumper, Nonmetallic, Grove U.S. L.L.C. P/N: 7195000552, CLIN 0003 51 each Bumper, Nonmetallic, Grove U.S. L.L.C. P/N: 719500053, CLIN 0004 51 each Bumper, Nonmetallic, Bottom Corner, Grove U.S. L.L.C. P/N: 719500547, CLIN 0005 51 each Bumper, Nonmetallic, Bottom Corner, Grove U.S. L.L.C. P/N: 7195000548, CLIN 0006 26 each Bumper, Nonmetallic, Bottom Side, Grove U.S. L.L.C. P/N: 7195000549. These parts are for Nomen Servicing Platform, Self-Propelled (Diesel and Electric) Manlift. Delivery is required F.O.B. NAVAIR SEFAC Site 24 El Centro CA within 90 days after award. All items will be shipped to NAVAIR SEFAC El Centro CA. Inspection and acceptance will be at Destination. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Offers that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR). If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
