Description

The U.S. Department of Education Contracts & Purchasing Operations seeks services for factory certified support on the two each DP380E-208V, two each IntraPack Battery Pack Model IP3ER-96370-192-3-2D, and two each SL0901625 Service Bypass Panels located in the ROB Server room 4725 at 7th and D St, SW, Washington, DC 20202 . This support provides factory-certified support for the APC devices owned by the Department for the period of one year. Requirements: The services required are termed ?Full Service Maintenance Agreement*?, and include the following: -Contract Configuration: WAMP-T9 (2), WBMP-T5 (6), WPMV-T9 (2); -Unlimited corrective UPS maintenance with all parts, labor and travel included; -Two (2) major Preventive Maintenance (PM) visits to be performed during normal working hours, (Monday -- Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, excluding holidays); -On site emergency response with next day response time; -7/24 Emergency phone service, toll free 800 number; -Two (2) battery preventive maintenances, to be performed at same time as electronics inspection; -Four (4) hour guaranteed respons; and -Preventive Maintenance inspections to be performed outside normal business hours. The Period of performance is 1 year from date of award of purchase order. Interested vendors should posses the following minimum capabilities: 1) Direct and quick access to internal APC certified maintenance engineers for current and future products; 2) Ability to submit technical problems directly to APC; 3) Seven by 24 service availability; 4) Factory trained and annual certified technical support staff; and, 5) On hand stock full line of factory parts Interested persons should submit a fixed price quote for the above requirements electronically to James.Hairfield@ED.GOV no later than 5:00 PM, August 3, 2001. Award will be based on lowest price for those vendors that first meet the minimum requirements. This solicitation is reserved for small businesses as defined by NAICS code 811211. Self-certification of small business status must be included in the quote. Quote should not exceed three 8 1/2" X 11" pages. See numbered Note 1.*****
