Description

The U. S. Army Military District of Washington Acquisition Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, intends to issue a Solicitation for a Contractor to provide all materials, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to renovate Building 39 at Fort Lesley J. McNair in Washington, DC. THIS SOLICITATION IS A COMPETITIVE 8(A) PROCUREMENT LIMITED TO ELIGIBLE 8(A) FIRMS LOCATED WITHIN THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA REGION. This work consists of, but is not limited to, substructure, superstructure, exterior closure, roofing, interior construction, interior finishes, conveying systems, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection systems, electric power and lighting, electrical systems, some furnishings, and selective building demolition. This project will be Firm Fixed Price with a performance period of 18 months. The magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 233320 with a size standard of $27.5 million. The Contractor MUST have the capability to obtain bonding.
