Description

Dollar magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000. The contract for these services will be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with one base year and four option years. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary for Sanitary Sewer Repairs Basewide located at the Charleston AFB, SC. The following is a list of work to be accomplished: Repair and/or Replace existing sanitary sewer mains and manholes. Perform maintenance of pipes and manholes resulting from television videotaping. Perform testing and disposal of contaminated soils. Provide turf replacement and various landscaping, including replacing sidewalks, curbing and repair streets. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted and will be evaluated using Pricing/Performance Tradeoff and under the HUB Zone Preference Program. Evaluation factors will be set forth in Sections L&M of the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest price. This solicitation will be available on or about 08 AUG 01 and maybe downloaded from the web site address: www.eps.gov or it can be accessed through a link at http://437contracting.charleston.af.mil. Paper copies or CDs of this solicitation will not be provided. Contractor proposal is required to be submitted in electronic form on disk or CD ROM. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals are due on 07 SEP 01 by close of business (4:30 p.m.). The issue date is 08 AUG 01. NAICS 234910.
