Description

NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. Work consists of providing all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to complete the drilling of water well SA-6. All work will be in compliance with the specifications and drawings. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract. The existing well, SA-6, is located in the NW quarter, Section 32, Township 175, Range bE., near Boles Acres, N.M. The well was installed in 1968 and needs to be replaced, due to age and deteriorated well screen. Requirements: The new well will have a 24" bore, be 1,000 feet deep, with a casing, vertical turbine pump, supporting electrical and necessary accessories. Driller shall meet all requirements from the New Mexico Office of State Engineer to drill a production water well, for a municipal use, in the State of New Mexico. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 235810. The SIC code is 1781 and the small business size standard is $7,000,000.00. The proposed acquisition is unrestricted. The solicitation will be posted through the internet on or about 9 Aug 2001. The internet address is http://www.eps.gov. Anyone wishing to participate in this procurement must obtain his or her copy from the internet. Any prospective contractor must be registered with the Central Contract Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. No paper copies of this solicitation will be mailed. Magnitude of Construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.00.
