Description

Perform road maintenance services on designated National Forest roads. Road maintenance services consist of routine maintenance activities normally associated with gravel and/or native-surfaced single and double-laned roads. TTypes of routine road maintenance service include blading aggregate surfaced roads, spot surface repair work using various types of specified aggregate, cleaning/reshaping ditches, routine as well as reclamation mowing, heavy brushing, seeding/fertilizing, machine placed riprap, hazard tree removal, sign installation/replacement, etc. Roads which may be designated to receive maintenance services are limited to (1) roads under Forest Service jurisdiction and (2) roads under other local jurisdiction that are designated for Forest Service road maintenance under a cooperative agreement. Solicitation is for a fixed-price economic price adjustment requirements contract with a basic contract period from date of award through 09/30/02 with four one-year option periods. NAICS Code 115310 applies. Small business size standard is $5.0 million. See Note 1.
