- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a request for quotation. Submit offers on RML-RFQ-018. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a Small Business Set-Aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334519 and the size standard is 500 employees. SCHEDULE: The Rocky Mountain Laboratories, Administrative and Facilities Management Section has a requirement for a Acid Detection System(s). It is mandatory that the Workstation that we purchase have the following features: (1) Acid Detection System, ph neut for 9500 (POPKBO0-263) (2) Acid Detection System, ph neut for 3500 (POPKBO1-263-1) (3) Installation of both systems shall be included in the response. (4) These systems are required to allow the drain discharge to be cooled below 150 degrees Fahrenheit and the ph adjusted to within the proscribed boundaries of 5.5-9.00. (5) Compatibility with existing Steris Basel equipment, Steris Basel #9500 Rack Washer, and Steris Basel #3500 Bottle Washer. (6) Installation must be completed by a certified technician so that there will be no adverse impact on the warranty. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial; Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items; The government intends to make an award based on: (1) Capability of the item offered to meet the agency need. (2) Price. (3) Compatibility with existing equipment; (4)Delivery ability and time. FAR 52-212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52-212.5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Warranty information shall include period and coverage. FOB Point shall be Origin, Hamilton, MT. Delivery location is Rocky Mountain Laboratories, 903 South 4th Street, Hamilton, Montana 59840. Offers may be mailed or faxed to the POC indicated above (Fax -- 406-363-9288). Offers must be submitted not later than 4:30 PM (MST), August 10, 2001.
