Description

MedPAC is an independent federal body which advises the U.S. Congress on issues affecting the Medicare program. It consists of 17 Commissioners supported by approximately 30 analytic and other staff. MedPAC is seeking a contractor to provide computer programming services including data base development/management and empirical analysis to support MedPAC's intramural research activities. Responsibilities will also include: updating and maintaining user documentation; performance of special projects requiring the use of special programs, hardware, and data; and facilitating migration of processing from mainframe to alternative platforms. A single contractor is being sought to provide these services under a time-and-materials contract for a period of one year with options to extend the contract for up to two additional years. RFP 05-01-MedPAC will be issued on or about July 30, 2001.
