Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Power Service Group Inc. The contractor shall be responsible to provide upgrades, installation, testing and maintenance to the existing Albercorp Battery Monitoring System at three U.S. Air Force Military Installations. The Contractor shall be responsible to decommission the existing BDS System to include the recovery of all monitor hardware to be utilized in the new monitor installation. The contractor shall be responsible to test, calibrate, perform synchronization of the BDS controller and dedicated computer, configure software and firmware, establish all program and alarm parameters, verify fiber optic system communication for full system operations and functions of the Battery Monitory System within the security and performance requirements of the Air Force Space Command. The contractor shall be responsible to verify precise measurement of the new Monitor Battery Sense-Connection hardware, software and firmware. The Contractor shall be responsible to provide maintenance, hands-on-training to site personnel to the usage of the new system. The Albercorp Battery Monitoring System provides enhancement for uninterruptable power supply for critical the Air Force Space Command missions, which range from Missile Warning Systems, Deep Space Surveillance, Global Positioning Systems, and Automated Remote Tracking Stations. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Performance Base contract. GSA anticipates a One Year, Two One Year Option Contract. All interested parties must submit a capability statement that sufficiently describes their qualifications, capabilities, and previous experience relevant to fulfilling the above requirement. Capability statements shall include evidence that the firm has previous experience in providing this requirement. The offeror must describe at least three similar projects that their firm has worked on which are similar in scope and their outcome and at least two customer reference POC with telephone number for these projects. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In the absence of responses from firms that believe they have the capability to provide these services, GSA intends to negotiate with Power Service Group Inc., located at 1800 Empire Industrial Court, Suite D, Santa Rosa, California, 95403.
