NOTICE OF PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE A pre-proposal conference will be held at the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Bldg W-143., 6th Floor, Jack Room, Norfolk, VA at 10:00 AM on 14 August 2001. Questions will be answered relative to this procurement. All prospective offerors are urged to attend this conference. In order to make the conference as productive as possible, Offerors are requested to submit any specific questions that they may wish addressed in writing to the Contract Specialist, Barbara J. Thompson via email at the following address: Barbara_J_Thompson@nor.fisc.navy.mil by no later than 4:00 pm est, 9 August 2001. The offerors may present written questions during the pre-proposal conference. The offeror shall also notify the Contracting Officer in writing, the names of any officials who plan attend the conference at least three (3) days before the date of the conference. Failure of a prospective offeror to submit any questions or to attend the conference will be constructed to mean that the offeror fully understands all requirements of the solicitation. Prospective offerors are advised that the pre-proposal conference will be held solely for the purpose of the explaining the specifications, terms, and conditions of this solicitation. All prospective offerors are advised that at the conclusion of the conference, unless this solicitation is amended in writing, it will remain unchanged and that if an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgement and receipt of any such amendment shall be applicable. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED
