Description

This solicitation is to obtain services to reconstruct Deep Creek Ridge trail #1771 that has been severely damaged by wildfire and flash flood. Work will consist of 3482 meters of clearing and grubbing, 3302 meters of excavation, 10 switchbacks with barriers and retaining walls and 10 waterbars that will be staked during construction for best location. Any use of motorized equipment will be prohibited. The project is located within the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area, Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, Wallowa County, Oregon. The estimated start work date is September 30, 2001. The engineers estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000.
