Description

The work includes dredging and disposal of 1) approximately 360,000 CY of material at the Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, and 2) OPTION: approximately 117,000 CY of material at Cheatham Annex, Williamsburg, and incidental related work. Disposal of material will be at Norfolk ocean disposal site. The funding of the option for the dredging and disposal at Cheatham Annex is subject to the availability of funds. The approximate solicitation release date is August 14, 2001. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only the official access to the solicitation is via the Internet, the address is: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The solicitation will be available for download free of charge. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet. The estimated cost range is between: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 234990 and the size standard is $17 million dollars. This solicitation is unrestricted. This is a firm fixed price contract for a period of 120 days. In accordance with the provisions of DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR database on part of the offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award.
