Description

The work of this project consists of the installation of 32 new electric exit signs, including all work necessary for power hook-up, at various locations throughout the Marine Barracks building in the Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston National Historical Park and the replacement and extension of approximately 120 fire sprinkler heads below previously constructed suspended ceilings on the 1st floor of the building and approximately 15 fire sprinkler heads on the 2nd floor of the building. This acquisition is subject to P.L. 100-565, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is subject to full and open competition. The estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 -- $100,000. Performance time is 60 calendar days. Contractors are urged to make a site visit to ascertain work conditions. Solicitation packages will be available on or after August 24, 2001.
