Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a delivery order to Martin-Baker Aircraft Company, Limited under sole source Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-99-G-1120 for the NACES Top Latch Handwheel, Part number MBEU 148680. The NACES Top Latch Handwheel is a redesign in accordance with a Support Equipment Change to prevent removal of the handwheel from the seat unless the seat is correctly locked to the ejection catapult. The requirement includes non-recurring engineering, testing, and procurement of approximately 193 units. The delivery order will be processed by the DCM-Northern Europe. Martin-Baker Aircraft Co. Ltd. is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of NACES and the only known source with the required technical expertise and data to meet the Government's needs.
