Description
ALUMINUM BOAT AND MOTOR: This announcement is for finding sources of aluminum boats, to include motor, trailer and all necessary components. Semi-vee, marine grade heavy-duty aluminum, 22 feet centerline length. Dead rise of 16 degrees. Bottom .250 thickness x 78 inches wide. Transom .190 thickness, sides .125 thickness. Front bow to be open with locking compartments. Bottom to be hard chined with fully welded one piece bottom at planing surface with full transverse stingers no more than 12 inches apart. Side height to be 32 inches to 34 inches. Sides and bottom to meet at bow. All door and hatch covers to be framed with one-inch aluminum alloy channel, full piano hinge and double stops. Hull to be assembled by using a shaped and slotted extrusion between sides and bottom (chine), and sides and top combing. All stress free welded both on the inside and the outside. All welds in the hull structure to be continuous and stress free no skip weld. Vessel to meet level flotation requirements. Ten year manufacture's warranty on hull. Manufacturer shall absorb all transportation cost to and from the factory for warranty repairs. Engine: 496 CID Chevy with port fuel injection, 385 HP or approved equal, top mount starter for easy access, alternator. Coast Guard approved flame arrestor, oil drain extension tube. 180 degree thermostat. Electronic through hull muffler type exhaust system. Cooling system to have closed circulating heat exchanger. Engine to be 4-point mount system with driveline and u-joints. Remote oil filter kit to also be installed. Consoles: For operation during winter months, heater/defroster with outlets at both consoles and foot sections. Locking radio box under driver's side console, inside dimension 5 inches high, 12 inches wide and 13 inches long. Pump: Hamilton 212, possi nozzle, turbo impeller, standard pitch pump to include all gaskets and stainless steel hardware, E-Z clean intake to be spring loaded lever operated from inside the boat for safety, every other bar to drop down on hinge to remove any debris from the intake system, splash guard, water intake cooling water hose, inspection hatch, saltwater resistant aluminum casing, electrically insulated rotor assembly, stainless steel main shaft, insulated stainless steel wear ring, heavy duty suplex thrust bearings, grease lubed, water lubed cutless rubber stern bearing. Pump shall have full manufacturer's warranty. Live well wash-down system, to run off the pump so that boat can be manually washed down. Pump shall have easy clean capability. Other components: locking compartments, canvas top, engine cover, trim tabs, swim step, fuel tank (single 70 gallon minimum), batteries, battery storage, battery cable, windshield wipers, docking lights, rocker switches, bilge pump, bilge blower, horn, deck cleats, throttle & shift, vents, gauges, seats (two-Trail Boss suspension with arms or equal), paint, cigarette plug sockets, trailer (hot dipped galvanized bunk type with side guides, tandem axle with serge type brakes and winch. Contractor to call if primary specifications can be met to get further specifics on other components.
