Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-01-Q-0269 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 335931 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirements is set aside 100% for small business concerns. This requirement is sole source to Connectronics Corp., 2745 Avondale Ave., P.O. Box 3355, Toledo, OH 43607 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a-) (2) (ii). This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001- Assembly, Cable , Drawing # 10049, PN: 10049-01, 50 ea. CLIN 0002- Assembly, cable, Drawing # 10176, PN: 10176-02, 10 ea. The Government does not possess the necessary drawings/specifications to allow for open competition. Connectronics Corp. is the original equipment manufacturer and has the required proprietary data to ensure the equipment meets the OEM's specifications. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination to Crane, IN 47522 within 12 weeks after award. Final inspection and acceptance will be at NSWC Crane. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirements of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
