Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price Contract to ITT Cannon, Santa Ana, CA for 22 ea. Tactical Electrical Umbilical Cables and 20 ea. Electrical Connector Plugs in accordance with Government provided drawings 76Z2795-17 and JCM-14117-003. Other than Full and Open Competition procedures are being used because the drawings are SOURCE CONTROL DRAWINGS and ITT Cannon is the only approved source of supply at this time. The items are part of the TOMAHAWK Cruise Missile System. Delivery of the cables shall be 273 days and that of the plugs 187 days after contract award. Any vendors that may be interested in becoming an approved source for these items should contact the contracting officer for further information on the qualification process.
