Description

The US Dept of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, is planning to negotiate a sole source contract with Berman-Gund Laboratory of the Harvard Medical School to provide a Rodenstock SLO 400 Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope, for Hines VA Medical Center, Hines Il. This is considered to be a sole source because it is a used piece of equipment being sold at a much lower price. It is also the only make and model that can perform microperimetry functions that are essential to the experiments performed at the Hine VA Hospital. Other sources that believe they can meet VA needs must furnish product information and references to this office by no later than 4:30 PM on August 1, 2001.
