Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with Raytheon Systems, McKinney, TX for AN/APS-137C(V)5 radar systems processor upgrade. This upgrade is a result of obsolescent components. Development, testing and incorporation of the Power Processor Card and the General Purpose Processor within the AN/APS-137C(V)5 with Ultra High Resolution/Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (UHR/ISAR) incorporated will be performed. Raytheon is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the AN/APS-137 radar system, and as such, is the only firm that has the technical capability and specialized experience to perform the required effort in a timely manner.
