Description

The U.S. Geological Survey Geologic Discipline has a requirement for conducting a helicopter electromagnetic survey, 300 line miles, near San Antonio, Texas. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and facilities, except as otherwise herein specified, required for conducting frequency domain HEM and magnetic surveys in Southwestern Texas, to provide digitally recorded and processed airborne data. The exact location of the survey area will be determined at the time of award. The survey area will be relatively square. Helicopter frequency domain EM and magnetic survey to be flown North-South at 0.093 mile (150 m) line spacing and 200 feet (60 m) above the terrain with sensor height at about 100 feet (30m). Two evenly spaced control lines are to be flown East-West at 200 feet (60 m) above the terrain with sensor height at about 100 feet (30 m). Optional items include optional deliverables/processing stacked profiles; optional deliverables/processing depth sections; optional deliverables/processing EM anomaly picking; and optional add on line miles not to exceed 500 miles.
