- Description
- The Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC/SC) requires enterprise technical support for Microsoft products. This requirement includes support for 17 AFMC bases and Geographically Separated Units (GSUs) throughout AFMC. The AFMC Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) will be the focal point for accepting trouble calls and initiating the enterprise support for Microsoft products. The enterprise support requirement is broken into three primary areas: 1. Account Management AFMC/SC requires an enterprise support agreement for technical account management. Technical account management shall include support consulting, remote diagnosis, usage reports, and status reports/meetings on a monthly or quarterly basis. The technical account managers will assist AFMC in determining the best way to use the enterprise technical support and services. 2. Technical Support and Services AFMC/SC requires a dedicated engineering staff, familiar with the AFMC network topology and how that topology relates to Microsoft products. In addition, the command requires support from a generalized pool of engineers to assist with problems or issues related to Microsoft products that are not mission critical and can be resolved at a lower level. AFMC/SC also requires the vendor to provide critical alerts and hot fixes related to Microsoft products. Finally, AFMC/SC requires the vendor to coordinate with other vendors on an as needed basis. 3. Technical Information Services AFMC/SC shall have the ability to view the Microsoft ServiceDesk to review problems or issues related to Microsoft products. In addition, AFMC/SC shall receive some form of proactive notification if/when an issue or problem arises with a Microsoft product or the configuration of a Microsoft product. Finally, the command requires 17 Microsoft Technet Plus Subscriptions (one for each Network Control Center (NCC)) and a single copy of Microsoft's Developer Network Subscription (MDNS) for the AFMC NOSC. For questions concerning this acquisition you may contact the Contract Specialist by email at Shelley.Johnson@wpafb.af.mil or the Contracting Officer at James.Leighty@wpafb.af.mil.
