Description

The Albuquerque Job Corps Center is soliciting bids for the position of Mental Health Consultant. Service will include but not be limited to providing Training to center staff on mental health issues, direct services on and off center to students, advising the Center Director and health service staff in all mental health matters, and providing "emergency" treatment or telophonic advice. The Mental Health Consultant must be licensed to practice in New Mexico and shall provide a copy of such license with their bids. It is further required that the Mental Health Consultants be a provider for Title 19. Any renewals of upgrades of license must be provided to the Center within 30 days of the occurrence. The bid will be for 2 years with 3 option years at the Center's discretion. Increases in price will be predicated on directions received from The National Office of Job Corps. Bids should be based 14 hours per week minimum. The period of performance will begin on October 1, 2001. Bids must be received at the Center on or before August 15, 2001. Bids will be opened at 3:00PM on August 20, 2001 and the successful bidder will be notified on or before September 4, 2001. The successful bidder will be chosen based on their ability to provide the Center with the best overall care and not on price alone.
