Description

The work will consist of new construction of a recreation site consisting of an overnite camping section and a day use area. This work involves clearing and grubbing; paved roads, campsites, parking areas and trails; 2 restrooms, 2 utilities buildings, a pavilion and a pole building; 2 trail bridges; stream mitigation; a host septic system; submersible pump installation; and sign, water, telephone and electric utilities placement. Project is located near BLM's Tyee Recreation Site, approximately 10 miles west of Sutherlin, OR, via Highway 138 and County Road 57. The estimated start work date is August 1, 2002, with 180 calendar days for performance. The estimated price is between $250,000 and $500,000.00. Bonds are required: Bid Bond, 20%; Performance Bond, 100%; Payment Bond, 100%.
