Description

THIS PROCUREMENT IS BEING ISSUED AS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. THE NAICS CODE IS 235210. THE SIZE STANDARD IS ANY CONCERN, INCLUDING ITS AFFILIATES, WITH AVERAGE ANNUAL SALES OR RECEIPTS FOR ITS PRECEDING THREE FISCAL YEARS NOT IN EXCESS OF $11.5 MILLION. All qualified responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. All requests for copies of the solicitation must be in writing and mailed to the Contracting Officer at the above address. Faxed requests for the solicitation will not be honored. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to paint all exterior work, including but not limited to, priming and painting all metal work, iron work, decorative metal, handrails, stairwells, metal doors and frames, etc...all in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Magnitude of this project is between $100,000 -- $250,000. Completion time shall be one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days after Notice to Proceed has been signed. Issue date is anticipated to be on or about 8/16/01. Closing date shall be on or about 9/18/01. A pre-bid conference and site visit has been scheduled for 8/27/01 at 1:00pm in Room 2C-260. This is the only site visit that will be held. Please call the Contracting Officer at 561-882-6508 to register for the pre-bid conference and site visit. A bid guarantee, payment and performance bond will be required. The project will be awarded as a firm fixed price construction contract.
