Description

The work under this Request for Proposal includes 1) furnish and install cribbing or to otherwise stabilize the Scale Platform from below; 2) repair damaged concrete and seal the Scale Platform surface; 3) install a flexible sealant between the edges of the Scale Platform and the Scale Pit walls; 4) remove steel plates covering Scale Platform and transport them to a storage location within the Charlestown Navy Yard; and 5) patch the bituminous concrete paving adjacent to the Scale Pit. This acquisition is subject to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is open to all concerns regardless of size. The estimated price rance for this project is between $25,000 -- $100,000. Performance time is 90 calendar days from notice to proceed. Contractors are urged to make a site visit to ascertain work conditions. Solicitation packages will be available on or after August 15, 2001.
