Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-01-G-5172 with General Dynamics Defense Systems (GDAS), 128 Lakeside Ave., Burlington VT 05402-4985. Orders may be issued on multiple occasions for material and services to study, evaluate and implement approved equipment changes to the MK 82 Director and MK 200 Director Control and Ancillary Equipment. This includes the preparation of Ordnance Alteration (ORDALT) Instructions and fabrication of ORDALT Kits, including necessary proofing and/or testing. Services include the performance of reverse engineering or redesign and qualification of alternative parts and assemblies and their sources as required to resolve Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) cases. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). General Dynamics Defense Systems is the only known source with the nec essary background, technical and engineering expertise necessary tooling and equipment to perform the effort in an efficient and effective manner.
