Description

The proposed work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, and incidentals necessary to provide refuse collection and disposal service at Blount Island Command, Jacksonville, Florida. Period of performance is 12 months (October 1, 2001 through 30 September 2002) with two one-year options. This procurement is being conducted under the simplified acquisition procedures identified in FAR 12 for commercial items. As such, award may be made within 30 days of the date of this announcement. Solicitation document will be posted on www.neco,navy.mil within 5 days of this announcement. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own solicitation.
