Description

The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting bids from qualified firms to operate the Presidio Trust Officer's Club Caf as a Japanese style caf in the Presidio of San Francisco, California. The Presidio is a National park and a National Historic Landmark. The period of performance for this service is October 15, 2001 through January 15, 2002. This does not include set up and break down time. Scope of Services may include but is not limited to: (1) operate a Japanese style cafe offering a light lunch menu, teas, coffees, soft drinks, pastries and desserts. (2) establish a Japanese theme in style, cuisine and presentation, complementing the Japanese exhibit and Japanese gift shop operating in the connecting space to the cafe. (3) operate the cafe while the exhibition is open 10 AM to 6 PM Daily except Tuesdays from approximately October 15, 2001 through January 15, 2002. (4) provide pre-ordered box lunches prepared off-site at the vendors' location and charged on a per-lunch set fee for educational, corporate and community groups which purchase advance sale tickets to exhibition. Set up and clean up for the box lunches will be provided by the vendor. (5) provide a cash register, portable sink, and all restaurant preparation accoutrements. (6) accept credit cards. (7) pay a negotiated monthly fee for use of the cafe space provided by The Presidio Trust. Detailed specifications will be provided in the Request for Proposals (RFP) package. Qualified small businesses are encouraged to respond. The Presidio Trust is a wholly owned federal government corporation and is not subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
