Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials and equipment and perform all work in connection with constructing a range shade on the firing line at BRM (Basic Rifle Marksmenship) Range #5 at Fort Jackson. Work includes demolition, excavation, site grading, rough carpentry and roofing(strip shingles). The magnitude of construction is between $100,000. and $250,000. The NAICS is 235610, $11.5 mil. This requirement is being considered for HUBZone set aside. Interested HUBZone certified firms must provide a written certification of its intent to bid on the project if it is set aside for HUBZone firms. The written certification must be received within five days of the day that this synopsis is printed in order to be considered. The written certification should be addressed to the attention of the contract specialist at FAX (803)751-5429. If sufficient response is not received, the solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.The solicitation will be available only on the web at www.tac.eustis.army.mil Any amendments will also be available on the web only. Bidders are cautioned to check the web site periodically. The successful contractor shall be CCR certified. The solicitation should be available around mid August.
