Description

Request for quotation to provide installation of approximately 6400 square feet of EPDM roofing system over existing ballasted bituminous roof and replace with new EPDM roofing system which includes 24 gauge flashing and counter flashing, insulation (2500-3000 sq ft). New roofing system and installation require a 15-year warranty. Contractor responsible for all labor, tools, materials, equipment, permits and disposal of construction debris and materials. Asbestos is not anticipated; however, no government tests have been performed on the existing roofing materials or system which was installed in the mid 80s. Contractors will be given access to the roof to inspect this proposed project. The range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is unrestricted in accordance with the small business demonstration program and is NAICS code 235610. Small business size for this category is $11.5 million or less averaged over a three-year period. Closing date for this quote will be approximately 29 Aug 2001.
