Description

The Immigration & Naturalization Service, Administrative Center Laguna is requesting quotations for Rancho Suspension Kits, Part Number 6570, (132) EA. All assemblies and subassemblies to be manufactured must meet or exceed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. The assemblies and/or subassemblies are listed below with their OEM part numbers for proper identification compatible to Ford Broncos, Model Years 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996. Each Kit must contain all necessary hardware parts and the following components: Center Pivot Drop/Passenger Side (Part# 1768); Center Pivot Drop/Driver Side (Part# 1767); Cross Member Bracket (Part# 1769); Pitman Arm (Part# 8703); and Radius Arms/Driver and Passenger Side (Part# 6610). The Offeror must quote for ALL the above stated components of each suspension kit. The delivery time after award is critical and the Offeror must propose the number of calendars days the suspension kits will be delivered after receipt of award. The suspension kits are to be delivered FOB Destination to: U.S. Border Patrol, San Diego Sector-Garage, 3752 Beyer Blvd, San Ysidro, CA 92173, Attn: Ernie Granillo. The following FAR Clauses are incorporated by reference: 52.203-6 Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government, with Alternate I; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Addendum (52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference); 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, which incorporate the following Clauses: 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities (Feb 1999) 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246), 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veteran Era (38 U.S.C. 4212), 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (29 U.S.C. 793), 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.225-1 Buy American Act -- Balance of Payment Program -- Supplies (41 U.S.C. 10a -- 10d); 52.225-13 Restriction on Certain Foreign Purchases (E.O. 12722, 12724, 13059, 13067, 13121 and 13129); 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; 52.212-1 Addendum. 52.246-17 Warranty of Supplies of a Non-complex Nature. Successful offeror will be required to complete the information as required in 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Item, as a condition of award. This is a combined synopsis/quotations for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only quotation; quotations are being requested and a written quotation will not be issued. Quotation ACL-1-Q-0021 is issued as a Request for Quote and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-24. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 441310, with a Small Business size Standard of $5mil. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. Closing Date or response date for this synopsis/quotation ACL-1-Q-0021 is August 10, 2001 at 2:00pm, Pacific Daylight Time. Only written responses will be accepted.
