Description
This notification is to inform Vendors of our intent to obtain information to be used for future contract actions for the procurement of spare parts/electrical components coded to Raytheon Company CAGE Code 05869 in Fullerton, CA. This action is in response to recent minimum quantity/value restrictions required prior to obtaining a response to government solicitations for requirements coded to the subject CAGE. All potential sources are invited to provide the information requested in the Market Survey included in this announcement. The information will be used as a basis for determining the most advantageous type of long term contracting arrangement to meet the government's requirements coded to the subject CAGE. The intent of future contract actions is to provide priority delivery within three days upon receipt of an order and provide no more than ten days delivery for all non-priority requests. Support options range from having these items stocked and managed by a vendor to continue to stock these items at defense depots. Some items may be better suited to one avenue or the other. Your recommendations are being sought. An initial list of items is available by accessing the link provided below. This list is subject to addition or deletion. Vendors are encouraged to recommend additions or deletions. Vendors are encouraged to make recommendations as to which items should be grouped into logical packages for future solicitation(s). Small Business and Labor Surplus area set-asides will be considered based upon responses to this notice and in conjunction with internal government reviews. Small Business and Labor Surplus Area recommendations are highly encouraged. Each proposed item must have a corresponding, current and active, National Stock Number (NSN) currently managed by the Commodities Directorate (S9E). Future efforts may include other Inventory Control Points such as S9C (Columbus, Construction), S9I (Philadelphia), and S9G (Richmond). In order to evaluate your ability and interest in becoming a participant in this initiative, we request that you provide the following information (this information is provided in a Market Survey Format document at the listed link): Company Name, Address, CAGE, Point of Contact Name, Phone Number, FAX, Email Address, Business Size (small or large), Labor Surplus Area (Y/N), Are you a manufacturer or dealer? If a dealer, please identify your source of supply (CAGE). Are you willing to accept priced option years? How many years would be possible? (Firm-Fixed-Prices must be available prior to the start of any option period.) What basic contract period would you recommend? (Firm-Fixed-Prices must be available for the duration of the period.) Are you willing to accept option years with an EPA clause that is adjusted by an assigned Producer Price Index? Do you consider Direct Vendor Delivery as an option? (Identify which items are valid candidates for DVD. DVD items must be available to meet 3-day delivery for priority orders and 10-day delivery for other orders.) What conditions would be necessary for your company to provide DVD support upon receipt of electronic orders transmitted on a daily basis? Identify if your company would consider accepting government purchasing card transactions for items on the referenced list. From the list of National Stock Numbers found at the link below, please identify which items would be economical to support via DVD versus government stock purchases; identify any minimum order quantities; identify which items should be grouped together if the government divides the list into multiple solicitation packages; identify items you would recommend adding to the list of items coded to CAGE 05869; identify which items your company would be willing to quote a firm fixed price and your best delivery; identify which items are commercial versus military unique.
