Description

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Office of Managed Care (OMC) through the Program Support Center, Division of Acquisition Management intends to negotiate an award utilizing simplified acquisitions procedures with The Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children in for technical assistance and training, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) accreditation data review and analyses. The period of performance shall be 12 months after award. The EAP accreditation surveys, which are integral to the performance of this requirement, are the proprietary property of the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children, Inc. The proposed acquisition is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this synopsis. No solicitation will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days from the date of this synopsis, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the acquisition to the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children. =20
