Description

The Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland, PA has a requirement for the purchases of four (4) each strapping mac hines. The specifications for these machines are: electric, 120v single phase, 500 watts, 1.2 second cycle time (50 straps per minute), tabletop photocell and foot switch, adjustable external control tension (3-70KG), table height 31.5", weight 3 08lbs, heat seal with low maintenance sealer head, bottom seal head location, internal strap dispense,easily accessible stra p feed unit for trouble free strap feeding, stainless steel tensioned rollers, loop kick-out feature, open coil cabinet, aut omatic strap discharge for misfeeds, dispenses 1/2", 3/8", 5/8" strapping, arch size 40.5" wide by 40.1" height, overall len gth 38.4", overal width 24.8". These machines must be Dynaric Model D-2300 or equal. (If quoting on other than Dynaric con tractor must send technical specifications with quotation). This is a combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation. This Request for Quotation and the resultant contract are being processe d in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A written Request for Quotation WILL NOT be issued. All responsibl e small business concerns may submit a quotation for the above strapping machines, which if received by 3:00 PM,14 AUG 01 sh all be considered. Fax quotation will be accepted by fax at 717-770-5689. The NAISC Code for this requirement is 333993 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. NOTE: All vendors and prospective Department of Defense contractors MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE DOD CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) DATABASE to receive awards after MAY 31, 1998.
